This project explores the algorithmic design of a parametric building envelope system using Grasshopper and GH_Python.
The responsive facade ensures optimal daylight with shifting sun and improves visual comfort by controlling the opening sizes. The sun that acts as an attraction point will trigger the shape change of the facade as their distance gets smaller.
A recursive logic is used for algorithmic patterning of varying apertures.
Secondary structures can be parametrically controlled.
The facade blocks unwanted sunlight based on the sun position.
